Very nice dining decor in both inside and outdoor seating areas. Very good drinks. Those are the good points. The not so good was the service, or more accurately the lack of service. Our waitress either was very poorly trained or did not want to be there. Never offered information on the specials, did not check on us, etc. The food was Luke warm and one entree was not correct. The wait staff for other customers were very attentive, explained specials, and appeared to care and seemed to enjoy their profession.

It's all they say it is. The good is very good and everything else is good too. Easy parking, great staff, ambience, inside and outdoor dining, people watching, creative meals. Take the great staff and food as reason to visit.

The best vegetarian burger I've ever had! The shrimp appetizer was typical, nothing special, but still good. The old school beef Wellington was meh, with a strange sauce, and we asked for medium rare and it was almost well done, still very tender. The flour less chocolate cake was hot and good. We would come back though! Server was outstanding

Absolutely awesome brunch experience! If you are in St. Augustine and are considering brunch look no further than Raintree. The service was outstanding! From start to finish our server was on top of everything. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were perfect. The continental breakfast buffet, included with the meal, had a wonderful selection of pastries, salads, and soups. The lobster bisque was delicious. For entrees we had the eggs Benedict which were perfect look and the eggs with bacon and cheese also an excellent choice.I cannot recommend Raintree enough for brunch.

Go for the ambiance! It’s a lovely little place great for a date night. Wine was decently priced and good selection; drinks were delicious. The food is good for picky eaters who like pretty standard fare. The service was great. It’s a nice restaurant for a group of people where some are foodies and some are not. :) And they have parking!

Awesome experience all around. The Beef Wellington was excellent and the Lasagna was on point. The service was speedy and attentive despite it being a busy Saturday night. This place is a definite must visit if in St. Augustine!

The service and food were top notch. They have several seating options for indoor, outdoor, large group or intimate date night. They were able to work us in without a reservation bin minimal time.

First time at Rain Tree and it was pretty good. Service was good. My beef Wellington was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The wife's shrimp Alfredo was flavorful. It's away from the main historic area so parking is a bit easier to come by.

1st time dining here. Overall the experience has been excellent. The service was outstanding. But the highlight of the night would be the deserts and the young lady making the deserts. The main course which was a lobster with pasta was excellent. The overall place very clean and very nice décor.

The food was not exciting but the house/restaurant is pretty. My husband had Beef Wellington, the bread topping was undercooked and too sweet. I had the veal which I enjoyed but the $28 plate was a bit much $20 maybe. The wait staff was good and gave us 10% off and free coffee without us mentioning anything because he recognized the wait for our food was excessive.

Fabulous brunch experience! Attentive wait staff, great food, and good location close to the local theater. Indoor and outdoor seating. Brunch entre included nice buffet.

Very nice place. The food and service were upscale but the pricing wasn't.

Lovely space with I door our door seating. Plenty of space with beautiful trees in a pretty old house. Was not.impressed with the.meal for the price. Felt like we were being served banquet food by necessity due to the volume of.food they were putting out.

Strong four. It's a beautiful building and if you're lucky enough to dine outside in the evening, it can be especially enchanting. It's a nice place with prices to match. There's an automatic 15% gratuity so expect that.Oh, I'd say I've been coming here since 92 off an on. Maybe once every few years perforated by a long break after after a particularly disappointing experience. Was sort of embarrassing too because we sang such high praises to the company who joined us. Everybody needs a little holiday.Withstanding, Raintree lends to romantic experiences and vibes a certain sort of uncontrived elegance.

Took wife there for birthday dinner, very nice restaurant, friendly staff...8-20-19,at 6 pm. The escargot was delicious, and we both had the beef Wellington.. steak was very good, a little over cooked, and the pastry was not as crisp or As freshly served out of oven as we would have liked for $30.00 each , but still a 8 out of 10. So we were very happy.. they added a 15% gratuity to the bill, which I did not understand, as the waiter would have gotten more with out the mandatory tip.... overall we loved the place and will definitely be back Overall very good meal, service, and ambience

Service was good but kitchen was very slow with poor quality of temperature of food. Quality of food was good to excellent. When asked why I didn't eat the rice or vegetables I explained they were cold. I was given a free desert...really? I spent $120.00 for an incomplete and disappointing meal. Roll the dice on this one!

Top notch. Friendly greeter. Drew our waiter was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. The food came out all at the proper time and was simply delicious. I had the special: salmon with a sherry cream sauce and crisped spinach - delectable! Portion sizes just right. My fiance's steak was cooked to perfection. We shared a mousse, also amazing. Thank you for the wonderful night!

We were excited about trying this place. We have a dog, and we asked for a table outside. We were told there was no room, and when we said that we would wait, the manager said that we should go somewhere else. There were more than a couple of tables that just opened up as we walked in. Disappointed is an understatement. Guess, they did not want our business.

I felt like I was eating inside a Disney World cafeteria. It's casual dining now but it wasn't in the 80s, and the only people that eat here are low class tourists. There was a guy behind me wearing a baseball cap inside and at night! I left after having just 1 drink (and it was iced tea).

We went to The Raintree to celebrate my birthday and it was such a special evening. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious. All the staff was professional and courteous and our waiter went above and beyond to help make the evening one to remember. The food was well prepared and delicious....to start, Bob had Escargot and I had a cup of Lobster Bisque. For our Entrees, I had Brandy Peppersteak and Bob had Bleu Cheese Crusted Filet.....both were outstanding! The entrees came with home mashed potatoes and sauteed carrots/green beans/peppers/onions....all tender crisp and perfect. For dessert, our waiter recommended the Cappuccino Ice Cream Crepe with chocolate sauce and raspberry sauce with toasted almonds. On the edge of the plate they wrote Happy Birthday in raspberry sauce! So special! I wish I had gotten the name of our waiter because he was outstanding....attentive without hovering, informative and polite. This restaurant is one we will visit again and again.

Great atmosphere, quaint with a lovely outdoor patio. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A little pricey but definitely recommend trying!

The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant itself is quiet. The food is okay but it's not Cordon Bleu cooking like like they try to advertise. Service was okay and we were seated quickly. Note: we were shores a 15% gratuity on the check. Be careful of for men use some of the descriptions are not accurate. Ex. Crusted flounder turned out to be flounder with a topping spread on it.

A favorite. Excellent service and attention to detail. Incredible food. Fresh fish and their filet with blue cheese is yummy. And the berries crepes......to die for.
